Selling merch is a great way to build community and raise funds for your club.

 

APPROVAL PROCESS

All club merchandise must be approved by UniClubs before it is made.

How to get approval:

  • If applying for funding in Rubric: Upload your mockup design (a draft image of what the merch will look like).

  • If not applying for funding: Email your mockup design to pulse-uniclubs@uow.edu.au.

LOGO RULES

Every item of club merchandise must include the UniClubs logo.
If the merchandise is paid for with UniClubs/SSAF funding, it must also include the SSAF logo.

MERCHANDISE FAQ:

Do we need UniClubs approval for all merchandise?

Yes. All club merchandise must be approved by UniClubs before ordering.

Submit mockup designs through Rubric when applying for Merchandise Funding.


If you are not applying for funding, email designs to pulse-uniclubs@uow.edu.au.

  • UniClubs logo → required on all merchandise.
  • SSAF logo → required if the merchandise is funded by UniClubs.

Both logos can be downloaded from the Resources page, and must follow the Logo Policy.

Common examples include:

  • Club t-shirts, hoodies, or caps
  • Banners or tablecloths
  • Small promo items (stickers, pens, tote bags)

Yes, but they must also be approved by UniClubs and cannot replace UniClubs/SSAF logos.

No. The UOW logo cannot be used unless UOW is a direct sponsor or partner of the merchandise project.

Merchandise funding is part of the Promotional Activities category. Clubs can apply for:

  • $100 for a banner each year
  • $300 for club clothing each year
  • $200 for other promo each year

No, but suppliers must provide legitimate tax invoices, and final designs must comply with UniClubs branding rules.

Yes, as long as it helps promote your club. But remember — merchandise must always represent the club positively and meet UniClubs guidelines.
