WHAT IS RUBRIC?
Rubic is our Club Management Portal.
When a student wants to find a UOW club online, they will find a club’s Rubric page.
This is your official club page affiliated with UniClubs, where students can join your club, sign up to events, buy merchandise and more.
Executives receive a special access to Rubric, where they can edit the club page, as well as submit all forms including events, funding, receipts and re-affiliation.

What is Rubric?
Rubric is the UniClubs management platform. It’s where students can find your club online, join, sign up for events, and buy merchandise.
Who can edit our Rubric page?
Only approved club executives have access to edit the page. Members and the public can view, but not edit.
What forms do we submit through Rubric?
All official UniClubs forms, including:
- Event Requests
- Funding Applications & Receipts
- Reaffiliation
- Merchandise requests
Do we have to use Rubric for everything?
Yes. Rubric is the only accepted platform for club management, forms, and official recognition.
How do students join my club?
Students can search for your club on Rubric and click Join. They can also pay membership fees (if applicable) directly through the platform.
Can we customise our Rubric page?
Yes! Executives can edit your club’s description, colour palette, upload photos, add social media links, membership types and keep information up to date.
What happens if our Rubric page is out of date?
Students may not be able to find correct info about your club, which can affect membership and funding. Execs should review the page regularly.
Is Rubric only for UOW students?
No. UOW students, Alumni, community members, staff and any potential member can join clubs, purchase tickets or merchandise through Rubric. Keep in mind your club needs to keep a member ratio of at least 60% current UOW students.
What if I can’t log in or submit a form?
Contact pulse-uniclubs@uow.edu.au for help. Make sure you are listed as an executive in Rubric to have the right permissions.
